In cold or inclement weather it is important to keep young calves warm.  The cold weather blanket by NorthAmerican Ag Products Inc is manufactured from blue, 900 denier, water resistant, nylon. It resists ripping and tearing and is breathable. It allows the animal to retain body heat while protecting it from wind and wet weather. The heavy duty liner is constructed from 283.75 gram (10 oz) PF-82 Poly Fiber and is 1 ¼ inches thick. The blanket is kept in place with four straps; two in the back, one in the middle and one in the front or neck region. The quick-release buckles are made from high impact plastic and are designed for easy on and off application.  It is trimmed with bias tape to protect the edges. The blanket is machine washable.
